Granite Belt Landscape Linkages

We partnered with Granite Belt Sustainability Action Network to map and identify potential links within the landscape to protect our native wildlife and threatened species. GBSAN is working with landholders to actively protect corridors of vegetation that provide habitat and movement zones for wildlife through their network of local land owners.

CARBON PROJECTS WITH IMPACT

Restoring Native Woodlands in the Traprock

Since 2022 with thanks to Qld Government Land Restoration Fund and Regen Farmers Mutual we have been supporting the establishment of Carbon Projects with strong biodiversity impact.

A core group of farmers have been working to build stepping stones for biodiversity across the Traprock Region and we have been there with them as their Regen Advisor.

Carbon projects with impact

Headwater Custodians – Upper Clarence NSW

With thanks to the NSW Government and in association with Regen Farmers Mutual, this group of farmers are currently investigating carbon projects that will have a positive impact on the watershed.

Located across the headwaters of two great river systems, a co-ordinated community of local land managers are looking to care for their country while also increasing the diversity of their incomes. Leveraging emerging nature-repair markets and leaning into regenerative farming practices they are increasing productivity and profits whilst sequestering carbon and enhancing biodiversity.

Ready to Adapt is proud to be one of the Regen Advisors on this project and work directly with farmers towards a more sustainable local environment for the benefit of everything downstream.
